A program for people who are physically, sexually and/or emotionally abusive towards their intimate partner. The program aims to eliminate violence in the home. It includes a 26 week psycho-educational group intervention focused on issues of power and control, harmful behaviors, alternatives to violence and awareness of self and others. Crisis Services/Crime Victims Assistance Program
Short-term clinical services, crisis intervention, and case management are
provided to individuals and families from 5 years of age through the geriatric
population, affected by family violence or some form of victimization.
Special Note: Fordham-Tremont CMHC/Family Crisis Service (FCS) has been a member
of the Clothesline Committee in the Bronx since 1994. FCS has approximately 800
– 900 shirts on display every year at the Supreme Court rotunda, which occurs
every year during Crime Victims Month (April).
